When I first started using my Instant Pot, a friend (and fellow IP owner) sent me this recipe for Creamy Italian Chicken with Penne from Pressure’s On. I always follow directions to the letter the first time making a new recipe (after all, I was a new IP user)! It was amazing! Over the last year, I’ve made some modifications for my crew and this deliciousness appears at our dinner table at least once a month (and there are rarely leftovers)!
Simple. Fast. Delicious. Your entire dinner – In. One. Pot. You can make it with or without chicken (but try it with sausage at least once… my word… it’s amazing.) The sauce is light (I use reduced fat cream cheese) and incredibly flavorful (the fire roasted tomatoes are brilliant). Even though I don’t always add red pepper flakes (because, #pickykiddos who only like spicy things every other day or when the wind blows in from the west) you have to give them a little sprinkle (even if it’s just in your own bowl).
I thought this would be a fun recipe to try out for my first Instant Pot video.
If you do not own an Instant Pot yet, go buy one now! You can do so much in this one pot wonder. Need convincing? Here’s a post I wrote with the Top 5 Reasons I Love the Instant Pot. You need one of these in your life.
